Transfer reality: you land at Malé's Velana International, are met on arrival, and connect to the resort's own branded seaplane for the roughly 40-minute flight. Seaplanes fly in daylight only, so if your international flight lands in the evening you will overnight in Malé and fly out the next morning — we build that into the itinerary rather than letting it surprise you.
Seasons: December through April brings the driest weather, calmest lagoon and the best light — and the biggest bills, with the festive weeks (late December into January) commanding peak rates, minimum stays and long lead times. May through November is greener and meaningfully better value, with brief tropical showers and the plankton-rich months that make the region's marine life come alive. For most couples, we like the shoulder months on either side of the dry season.
Where we add value: we book Cheval Blanc at the same rates you would pay direct, then layer in partner perks — think daily breakfast, resort or spa credit, and upgrades where availability allows. Just as important, we pick the villa: which categories are worth the jump, water versus island, and which orientations get the sunset. Tell us your dates and we will come back with the villa we would book ourselves, the perks we can attach, and a transfer plan that actually works with your flights.
